Q.)  A and B are moving on a circular track with speed 5 m/s and 4 m/s. At how many different points on the track they will meet if they are running in different direction and start at the same time.

Ans.1)  As they have started simultaneously and running in different direction. They will cover the distance with relative speed i.e. 5+4=9 m/s.

Let if l is the length of circular track. First they will meet after l/9 s.

Again they will meet after l/9 s.

So track will get divide in 9 different parts on which they will meet.

So they will meet at 9 different points.
